Lead a Life of Victory
Psalm 91:13-16: “You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.””
In a dangerous and evil world, where can we turn for safety? Psalm 91 points us with confidence towards Almighty G-d who offers protection and refuge in the day of trouble.
G-d is called by many names. He is ‘Adonai Rophe’ (the L-rd our Healer); He is ‘Adonai Yir’eh’ (the L-rd our Provider); He is ‘Adonai Nisi’ (the L-rd our Banner); He is ‘Adonai Tzidkeinu’ (the L-rd our Righteousness); He is ‘Adonai Ro’eh’ (the L-rd our Shepherd); and He is ‘Adonai Hamoshia’ (the L-rd our Deliverer).
And in these troubled times, this may very well be what we need Him to be – our Deliverer.
However to experience Almighty G-d as our Deliverer, we need to walk closely with Him day by day. It doesn’t help when danger strikes to call upon Him then, because it’s too late. If you want G-d to deliver and rescue you in the bad times, you need to fellowship with Him in the good times.
No country, when they see an enemy army advancing upon them, waits for the enemy to attack and then plans a defensive strategy. As soon as the country is aware of an imminent attack by an enemy army, they immediately go into battle mode, planning a defence well ahead of the attack.
Why then do we wait until the enemy attacks us to throw up a quick prayer to Almighty G-d to deliver us…it’s too late then.
I encourage you fellowship with Almighty G-d every day. Pray prayers of protection around you, your family, your household, your pets, your home, your business, your ministry and your possessions…every day.
Put on the full armour of G-d according to Ephesians 6:13-17: “Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”.
Then cover your family, your household, your pets, your home, your business, your ministry and your possessions with the Blood of Yeshua…every day.
Psalm 91:13 tells us that we “shall tread upon the lion and the cobra” and the young lion and the serpent we shall trample underfoot. You can only do this if you know how to do spiritual warfare.
The G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father, Son, Holy Spirit has won the victory for you. And He has done this because of His love for you and for mankind.
Verse 14 tells us that if we set our love upon Him, He will deliver us, and that He will set us on high if we know His name.
Verse 15 tells us that if we call upon Him, He will answer us and that He will be with us in times of trouble and He will deliver us and honour us.
Verse 16 tells us that He will satisfy us with long life, and show us His salvation.
So, read your Bible and get to know the Word of G-d; do spiritual warfare every day, and read Psalm 91 and other wonderful psalms of protection and deliverance as often as you can, then pray them back to the L-rd.
Then, get to know the Prophetic Word of G-d regarding the Jewish people, Israel, Jerusalem and end times, and get to know Yeshua’s end-times prophecy found in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 so that you can have understanding of the times we are living in.
Finally, fellowship with ‘Adonai Hamoshia’, the L-rd our Deliverer, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father, Son, Holy Spirit every day, and lead a life of victory, even in these most troubling of times.
