Prayer for Israel

 

Our Father in heaven, Protector and Redeemer of Israel, please bless the State of Israel and shield it beneath the wings of Your love. 
Send Your light and Your truth to Binyamin Netanyahu, his cabinet as well as to Israel's leaders, officers and counselors and direct them with Your good counsel; let their decisions be according to Your will.
Spread Your canopy of protection over Israel and its inhabitants and “let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.” 1

Strengthen the defenders of Your Holy Land; grant them salvation and crown them with victory.
Let Jerusalem remain as Israel’s undivided capital and according to Your Word, we pray for the “Peace of Jerusalem”. 2
As watchmen, “we will never hold our peace day or night; we will not keep silent; we will give You no rest till You establish and make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” 3

Remember the whole house of Israel, in all the lands of their dispersion.
Thank You that, according to Your word, You are returning them to Zion, Your city, to Jerusalem, Your dwelling-place.

Unite the hearts of the Jewish people to love and revere You and to live their lives according to the instruction in Your word. 
Remove the veil from their hearts and minds concerning the Messiahship of Yeshua.
Thrust out workers into the Jewish harvest field and increase Your remnant of Jewish Believers.

Unite the hearts of all the believers in Israel, Jews, Arabs and Gentiles.
Let the light of Yeshua shine forth from them and guide them to minister the truth of Yeshua to all the inhabitants of Israel; grant them favour and success.
Protect and unite all Messianic believers as well as all Messianic congregations and institutions in Israel.

Shine forth in Your glorious majesty over all the inhabitants of Israel; and at this time and in this season let Your grace, Your favour, Your protection and Your mercy be on Israel and the Jewish people as well as on Jewish communities and Jewish institutions in Israel and around the world.

  • To minister the Gospel to the Jewish people. In Luke 24:47 the Lord Jesus said that "the repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem".
  • To love and comfort the Jewish people according to the Biblical command found in Isaiah 40:1.
  • To equip G-d'S people for evangelism. The evangelism arm of Emet Ministries, although focusing on the Jewish people, is for all people.
  • To intercede for the Jewish people.
  • To intercede for the nation of Israel.
  • To pray for the peace of Jerusalem according to the Biblical command found in Psalm 122:6-7.
  • To share G-d's Word regarding His end time purposes for the Jewish people and the Nation of Israel.

Our focus always remains on Yeshua and the work of the cross, relying on the Holy Spirit to guide us.

We have been set free through the death of the Yeshua on the cross and we are now under grace and not under the law.
