THE KINGDOM KEYS TO EVANGELIZING

Evangelizing is the act of sharing or spreading the message of the Christian Gospel in order to bring mankind to faith in Jesus and it begins with the Jewish people.

Evangelizing involves proclaiming the teachings of the Bible and of Yeshua and it is associated with missionary work, preaching, teaching and witnessing in order to strengthen mankind’s faith in Almighty G-d.

The key elements of evangelizing are:

• Sharing the Gospel message.

• Clearly communicating the core teachings of Judaism and Christianity and building relationships by establishing trust and rapport with others in order to create opportunities for sharing the Gospel.

• Demonstrating compassion by showing care and concern for others and reflecting the love and kindness of Jesus Christ.

Evangelizing is not just about sharing the Gospel message, it’s also about sharing the love, hope, and redemption found in Yeshua.

And Yeshua fully equips us for evangelizing.

Matthew 16:15-19 declares: “He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

We see in Matthew 28:18-20: “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.”

Acts 1:6-8 declares: “Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Yeshua gives us the most amazing keys for evangelizing:

• The keys of the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 16:19).

• The spiritual authority to bind evil and godlessness on earth which is sealed in

Heaven (Matthew 16:19).

• The spiritual authority to loose Godliness and G-d’s power on earth which is sealed in heaven (Matthew 16:19).

• His own authority and power (Matthew 28:18-20).

• The Holy Spirit and His power (Acts 1:8).

Yeshua gives us seven specific mandates found in the “Great Commission”:

Matthew 28:18-20: “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”

1) Make disciples of all the nations.

2) Baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

3) Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.

Mark 16:15-16: “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.””

4) Go into all the world.

5) Preach the gospel to every creature.

Luke 24:46-47: “Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”

6) Preach repentance and remission of sins to all nations beginning with the Jewish people.

Acts 1:6-8: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

7) Be witnesses of Me (Yeshua) in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,

and to the end of the earth. (It begins with the Jewish people).

We see two very important things here:

A statement: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you”.

A command: “…and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

And this is a blueprint of the ‘Great Commission’ from Yeshua Himself.

When it comes to evangelizing, it is left to Pastors, and to ‘so called’ evangelists. I use the terminology ‘so called evangelists’ because actually we are all evangelists, and now is the time to align our vision to this.

In Matthew 24:3, the disciples ask Yeshua a question: “What will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Yeshua gives a prophecy and then says in Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Can we honestly believe that the kingdom can be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations by just some evangelists? No, it’s going to take all of us to fulfil this.

2 Timothy 4:1-5 declares: “I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil your ministry.”

Paul gives seven directives in 2 Timothy 4:1-5:

1. Preach the word.

2. Be ready in season and out of season.

3. Convince, rebuke, encourage and teach.

4. Be watchful in all things.

5. Endure afflictions.

6. Do the work of an evangelist.

7. Fulfill your ministry.

The Bible is not a Book of suggestions, it is a Book of commands.

The only way we can fulfil our ministry or calling as born-again believers is to align our vision to G-d’s perspective, and our work is first and foremost evangelism.

And the only way we can fulfil our ministry or calling to the Jewish people – especially since October 7, is to align our vision to G-d’s perspective regarding the Jewish people according to Acts 1:8: “You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

You have the keys of the Kingdom, and now is the time for the ingathering of the Jewish harvest.

Now is the time to tell them (and all people) about the redemption that comes through the Jewish ‘Moshiach’, the Saviour of all mankind, Yeshua.
