YESHUA IS YOUR VICTORY IN 2026
Psalm 31:19-24: “Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men! 20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence From the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion From the strife of tongues. 21 Blessed be the LORD, For He has shown me His marvellous kindness in a strong city! 22 For I said in my haste, “I am cut off from before Your eyes”; Nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications When I cried out to You. 23 Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, And fully repays the proud person. 24 Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the LORD.”
2025 has come to a close and we are now in to 2026. Most people will be hoping that 2026 will be a far better year than 2025; however right now, it almost seems that things are becoming worse rather than becoming better.
Since 2025 began, Israel is widely considered to be fighting a war across seven different fronts. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials have explicitly referred to this seven-front conflict, which is primarily orchestrated by Iran and its proxies.
The seven fronts are generally identified as:
• Gaza: Against Hamas and other militant groups.
• Lebanon: Against Hezbollah.
• Syria: Against Iranian forces and Iran-backed militant groups.
• Iraq: Against Iran-backed Shia militias that have targeted Israel with drones and missiles.
• Yemen: Against the Houthi rebels, who have launched missiles at Israel and attacked international shipping in the Red Sea.
• The West Bank: Against various Palestinian militant factions.
• Iran: Involving direct, though often limited, exchanges of strikes between the two countries, particularly in April and October 2024.
Some analysts also refer to an “eighth front,” which involves the global legal, diplomatic, and public relations challenges Israel faces internationally.
Has a “ninth front” opened up? More recently, a number of terrorist attacks have been perpetrated against Jewish people, and Jewish communities and institutions in Israel and in many different countries – most recently in Australia.
The various conflicts are viewed not as isolated incidents, but as interconnected components of a unified campaign by Iran to encircle and exhaust Israel.
Since Israel declared war on Hamas, anti-Semitism has become increasingly worse. Right now it’s getting to the point where hatred for the Jewish people is becoming worse than the hatred for the Jewish people during World War Two and the Holocaust.
Countries, millennials, governments and world bodies are against Israel, and much of the church is totally indifferent to the Jewish people, Israel and Jerusalem, as well as to the mandate G-d has given to the church regarding His chosen people, the Jewish people, His chosen Land, Israel, and His chosen city, Jerusalem.
This past Friday, Israel became the first country to formally recognize the self-declared Republic of Somaliland as an independent and sovereign state – a decision that could reshape regional dynamics and test Somalia’s longstanding opposition to secession.
Immediately many nations condemned Israel for this decision, and found one more reason to hate and delegitimize Israel. Anti-Semitism went up another notch.
On another war front, there seems to be no end in sight of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In fact over the past month Russia’s aggression has substantially increased, as it is now deliberately targeting Ukraine citizens – especially in the major city of Kyiv.
Persia (Iran) is arising according to Biblical prophecy, and is trying everything it can to build nuclear weapons with the aim of destroying Israel.
Since Israel and the US targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities, this has been significantly set back.
However Iran is now manufacturing improved ballistic missiles with the aim of overwhelming Israel’s defence systems; and a war with Iran can start at any time.
The Bible is hate speech and should be banned; Christianity is hated and not to be tolerated – as is Israel and the Jewish people.
The truth is that the world is rebelling against G-d and His Word, and lawlessness is abounding.
The anti-Semitic South African government has blatantly turned against Israel and has on more than one occasion taken Israel to the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
Because of this, South Africa is under a curse; a curse that is spoken by God over those who curse the Jewish people and Israel: Genesis 12:2-3: “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you”.
Lawlessness is abounding according to Yeshua’s prophesy in Matthew 24:12, as are wars and rumours of wars, as well as famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places according to Yeshua’s prophesies in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.
So in light of the above, what is 2026 going to be like? WONDERFUL … If your hope is in the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
In John 16:33, Yeshua says: “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
And in Luke 21:28, Jesus says: “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
Psalm 31:19 tells us that G-d is a great and good G-d who has prepared great and good things for those who fear Him and trust in Him.
Verse 20 tells us that He hides those who fear Him and trust in Him in the secret place of His presence from all that mankind brings against them.
Verse 21 tells us that He shows us His marvellous lovingkindness.
Verse 23 tells us that He preserves those who love Him and are faithful to Him.
Verse 24 tells us that all who hope in the L-rd should “be of good courage” for He strengthens our hearts.
So what are we facing? Shaky economies; pestilences; wars; uncertainty about the future; a world that has become totally lawless and is rebelling against Almighty G-d, and hatred for the Jewish people and the church increasing.
However, if you are a born again follower of Yeshua, you have nothing to fear, not even death itself, because Yeshua is your victory and He attained victory over death through His death and resurrection.
So be strong and of a good courage, and trust in Almighty G-d whose name is ‘ADONAI ELOHIM’.
Put your hope and trust in Him and you will have a wonderful 2026.
One other reason why 2026 will be wonderful is that it is that much closer to the return of the Jewish ‘Moshiach’ (Messiah) and Saviour of the world, Yeshua.
So how are you doing? Are you going into 2026 with hope or are you going into 2026 with hopelessness?
One way to remain hopeful is to share hope with those around you. True hope and true victory only comes through Yeshua (Jesus).
A tradition at the beginning of a Gregorian New Year is to make a New Year’s Resolution.
The best New Year’s Resolution for both Jews and Gentiles is to commit your life to Yeshua, who lovingly and faithfully endured the Cross for you, accepting Him as your L-rd and Saviour.
Then through Yeshua and reading the Word of G-d (the Bible), allow joy to well up inside of you. Be confident about the future, and shout out: “Praise G-d, I’m starting over with Yeshua” and find out what it really means to have a blessed New Year.
As you begin another year, we pray that G-d will give you a fresh revelation of His character as ‘Adonai Tzeva’ot’, Almighty G-d, the Ruler of All Men, All Nations and All the Forces in Existence.
We at Emet Ministries pray that 2026 will be a blessed year for you, filled with the goodness, grace and favour of Almighty G-d who not only goes before you to prepare your way; who not only goes besides you to lead and guide you; but who also goes behind you as your rearguard to protect you.
So, go into 2026 with excitement and with hope, because it is going to be an awesome victorious year.
Why?
Because the only true G-d, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, reigns!
He is your hope and He is your victory.
Navigate 2026 with confidence, knowing that the Lord our God is good, faithful, kind, gracious and compassionate.
And as we navigate 2026 with each and every one of you, our hearts are overflowing with deep gratitude for all your love, prayers and support.
We pray that the Lord pours out His richest blessings, grace and favour upon you all as well as on your families and your loved ones in 2026.
